A Fresh Start – Changing lives one loaf at a time

The Bread House employees are GraceWay Recovery residents. These women use only the freshest quality ingredients to prepare and retrieve your freshly milled whole wheat bakery goods fresh from the oven and package them with an enclosed Scripture verse and care. The baker’s very livelihoods depend on this daily bread and the goodness of others as they practice and develop their recovery tools. These GraceWay residents reenter the marketplace and become productive members of their families and society.
GraceWay Recovery Residence offers resident/bakers a “fresh start” and teaches recovery tools utilizing the Twelve Step methodology of Alcoholics Anonymous in a comprehensive long-term phased program. Residents practice the spiritual principles underlying these 12 steps in a highly structured, truth-filled home-like environment. GraceWay is “radically different” from clinical treatment centers that often offer chemical solutions for this spiritual malady of addiction. The non-profit sober-living residential recovery community provides women with the opportunity to posture themselves so that God can do for them what they cannot do for themselves. In addition to maintaining sobriety, women are encouraged to pursue ongoing education, employment, family responsibilities, dreams and joy-filled lives.
Success is measured one woman…one day at a time…
