Real Salt

At The Bread House, we use only Redmond RealSalt sea salt in our fresh baked products. In its natural form salt is not sparkly white or free flowing.

Many so-called table salts also contain sugar, in the form of dextrose- meant to cover or disguise an otherwise harsh or bitter flavor. In fact, a quick glance at the ingredients label on most table salt products might surprise you. In addition to sodium chloride, you’ll probably find calcium silicate or sodium silicoaluminate, dextrose and potassium iodide.

RealSalt’s unique pinkish appearance and flecks of color come from more than 50 natural trace minerals, including iodine, calcium, potassium, magnesium, copper and zinc. RealSalt is extracted from a salt deposit in an ancient sea bed near the small town of Redmond, Utah, more than 150 miles south of the Great Salt Lake.

Olive Oil

The Bread House procures only the very finest extra virgin cold pressed olive oil in our products to enhance the vibrancy, flavor and character of our baked goods.

Honey

Locally grown wildflower honey adds the perfect hint of aromatic sweetness and color to our healthy whole grain recipes.
